Aromas of Black current and olive tapenade. Toasty oak with cedar and cigar box complimented by a hint of mint. Moderately firm but fine tannins round off the persistent finish.
Syrah is especially suited to the warm dry climate of the South Okanagan, where it reaches full ripeness with deep purple colour and spicy aromas. Aged for 18 months in new French and American oak barrique barrels.
Overripe aromas of black dark fruit enter and waft over the pallet. Cedar flakes and oak flavours follow gracefully. The wine is heavily structured and bold.
