Aged in the finest French and American oak barrels. A wine of breadth and power. Toasted oak and an overtly floral nose display aromas of dark cherry, spice, earth, and a hint of game. There is an excellent mid-palate concentration. Tannins are firm but fine on the wonderfully persistent finale.
